Important Dates

Library Visits and Lessons: Every other Tuesday, as a class, we will visit the library and every other of these visits(once a month) we will have a presentation in the library or a lesson from a librarian about different styles or form books are written in or to review/learn the dewy decimal system.

Trips to a "Field": Every other Thursday (on the weeks without a library visit on Tuesday) We will have outside time for our creative workshop class time (See Daily Classroom Schedule). 

We will visit the bleachers, the steps of the school or the football field (depends on what class period and time of the day it is during our class time.) 

Field trips: This will be done outside the typical classroom scheduled time. The purpose of our visits will be to document observations and the next classroom lesson we have writing exercises will be done based on these visits and observations. 

DATES WILL BE DETERMINE BY THE ADMINISTRATION AND TEACHERS 

(Field trips will only be in the second half of the school year.)
We will visit ... one museum and one natural marvel.

       The class will help decide between...

• The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho

• Natural Marvel: 

• Bear World 
• OR
• A designated nature trail of the Tetons (TBD)
